Preschool Parent & Toddler Classes - 12 months to 3 years

These classes are a fantastic way for young children to socialise, play and enjoy fundamental movement skills that are exciting and fun to do with Mummy or Daddy. These classes are predominately free play, whereby equipment is set out for children to explore. Coaches direct play all activities, encouraging children and parents to engage in physical activities together.

Preschool Independent classes - 3 years to 5 years

Classes focus on independent play whereby social skills as well as core physical literacy skills, rolling, jumping , coordination and balance skills are all explored by utilising appropriate play equipment that supports the physical development of young children . These classes are coach led and are more structured to ensure early skill development of fundamental movement skills.

Recreational Classes - 5 years to 15 years

Recreational gymnastics is more fun based than many other gymnastics disciplines that PGC has on offer. This discipline offers an environment whereby all pieces of gymnastic apparatus can be utilised by the gymnasts however, this discipline is less demanding in relation to time in the gym. Gymnasts can choose from 1hr (Bronze), 1.5hr (Silver) or 2hr (Gold) sessions.

Display

Our display team consists of all levels of abilities and is extremely popular due to the mixture of dance and gymnastics elements . Choregraphed routines are put together to music and showcased annually at two major events.

Tumble

Tumble classes are mostly geared towards children who do not wish to engage in bars , beam, or vault. The Tumble discipline focuses on acrobatic elements only. Many children attend both display and tumble as they enjoy the mix of the disciplines.

Floor & Vault Squad

Floor and Vault is aimed at teaching gymnasts a variety of floor and vault gymnastic skills. This discipline is suited to children who are not so keen on the asymmetric bars, beam or who prefer shorter training sessions as opposed to longer more intense sessions. There is a competitive pathway in floor and vault for children to progress into competitive structures. Entry to this squad is by coach selection.

Club Grade Squad

Club Grades is predominately where most gymnasts, but not all, start their competitive gymnastics journey . From club grades gymnasts can then choose which pathway is suitable for them dependant on their individual skill level. Entry to this Squad is by coach selection.

National Grade Squad

This squad is for the more advanced gymnasts who are engaging in higher level skills which demand focused training sessions for a minimum of 15 hours per week. Children attending this squad have a variety of competitive pathways to chose from dependant on their ability level.
